The 'Sampreshana 2025' inter-school media competition, organized by the Media Unit of Asoka College, Colombo, marked its fourth successful iteration, drawing a lively crowd of participants and media enthusiasts. This year, the event expanded into an all-Ceylon media day, inviting schools from across the island and promoting collaboration among young journalists. The competition embraced Sri Lanka's cultural diversity by being trilingual, allowing participation in Sinhala, Tamil, and English.
Under the theme "A new man to the media world," the event encouraged students to explore innovative media approaches and consider the ethical responsibilities of journalism.
